DeepWork Focus Timer is a productivity application from DuttLabs. The app is designed to store focus and planning data so it can provide timers, projects, deadlines, analytics, iCloud sync, widgets, and Apple Watch companion features.
1. Information the app stores
Focus and planning data
The app stores the projects, sessions, deadlines, timer settings, journal entries, tags, completion states, and review data that you create or configure.
Product interaction data
The app uses your own session history, feature settings, completion patterns, streaks, and review activity to calculate productivity analytics and recommendations inside the app.
Purchase information
All payments are processed by Apple. The app receives StoreKit transaction and entitlement status so it can unlock paid access. DuttLabs does not receive your payment card details.
Optional profile and sharing data
DeepWork Focus Timer does not require a first-party account. If you enable optional social or accountability features, the app may store a display name, an internal user identifier, partner codes, and the progress visibility choices needed to operate those features. These features are off unless you enable them.
2. Information the app does not collect
- The app does not track you across other apps or websites.
- The current project does not include a third-party analytics SDK.
- The app does not collect location data.
- The app does not collect contacts or personal files.
- Calendar, reminders, notifications, Siri, and iCloud features use Apple system permissions and only operate when you grant the relevant access.
3. How information is used
- To provide focus timers, projects, deadlines, reminders, widgets, Live Activities, Apple Watch status, and review screens.
- To calculate analytics, recommendations, streaks, completion rates, and exported reports from your own focus data.
- To sync data with iCloud when you enable iCloud sync.
- To verify Premium access, subscriptions, lifetime purchase status, and restore requests.
- To provide optional accountability or sharing features when you enable them.
- To respond to support requests that you send to DuttLabs.
4. Storage and security
Focus data is stored locally on your device using Apple platform storage frameworks. If you enable iCloud sync, your data is stored in your personal iCloud account and protected by Apple's iCloud security model. DuttLabs does not have direct access to your personal iCloud database.
5. Sharing
DuttLabs does not sell your personal information. Data may be shared only in the following limited situations:
- With Apple services that are necessary for App Store purchases, iCloud sync, notifications, Siri, widgets, Apple Watch, and other system features you use.
- Through optional social or accountability features, only for the information you choose to make visible.
- When required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect rights and safety.
6. Your choices
- You can disable iCloud sync, notifications, social sharing, and accountability features in the app or system settings where applicable.
- You can restore purchases from the app settings using the same Apple ID used for purchase.
- You can delete app data from the app settings. If iCloud sync is enabled, deletion may also affect synced devices.

7. Children
DeepWork Focus Timer is not directed to children under 13. DuttLabs does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
8. International use
If you use the app outside your country of residence, data may be processed in other countries through Apple services or support correspondence.
9. Changes to this policy
DuttLabs may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating this page and the in-app policy reference.
