These Terms of Use govern your use of DeepWork Focus Timer, a productivity app from DuttLabs. By downloading, installing, or using the app, you agree to these terms and to the Privacy Policy.
1. App Store distribution and EULA
DeepWork Focus Timer is distributed through Apple's App Store. These terms supplement Apple's standard end user license agreement for App Store apps. If these terms conflict with Apple's required terms for App Store distribution, Apple's required terms control where applicable.
2. Service description
DeepWork Focus Timer provides structured focus timers, project tracking, deadline awareness, analytics, review tools, exports, iCloud sync, widgets, Live Activities, Siri shortcuts, and Apple Watch companion features where available.
3. Paid access
The app requires paid access after onboarding. DeepWork Focus Timer offers the following products:
- Monthly subscription: $4.99 per month in the local StoreKit configuration.
- Yearly subscription: $39.99 per year in the local StoreKit configuration.
- Lifetime purchase: $79.99 one time in the local StoreKit configuration.
Actual App Store prices may vary by region, tax, currency, and Apple pricing updates.
4. Free trial
Eligible users may receive a 7-day free trial on the Monthly or Yearly subscription. The trial provides full Premium access. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, the selected subscription begins automatically and Apple charges your Apple ID. Lifetime access is a one-time purchase and does not include a free trial.
5. Subscription renewal and cancellation
Monthly and Yearly subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Apple may charge your account for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in Apple ID settings.
6. Lifetime purchase
Lifetime access is a non-renewing in-app purchase that unlocks Premium access for the lifetime of the product, subject to these terms, App Store availability, and applicable law. Lifetime access is restorable through Apple's purchase system.
7. Restore purchases
The app provides a Restore Purchases action. Restoration requires the same Apple ID used for the original purchase and depends on Apple's StoreKit purchase records.
8. Refunds
Apple manages App Store refunds. To request a refund, use reportaproblem.apple.com or Apple Support. DuttLabs does not directly process App Store refunds.
9. Your content and data
You retain ownership of the project names, session records, deadlines, journal entries, and other content you create in the app. You grant DuttLabs a limited right to process that data only as needed to provide app features, support, and legal compliance.
10. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the app, attempt unauthorized access, disrupt the service, reverse engineer the app except where allowed by law, use the app for unlawful activity, or store content that violates applicable law.
11. Availability and changes
DuttLabs may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue features. Some features depend on Apple services, network availability, system permissions, device capability, or active paid access.
12. Disclaimers
The app is provided as is and as available. DuttLabs does not guarantee uninterrupted operation, error-free behavior, data preservation, or specific productivity outcomes.
13. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, DuttLabs is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or loss of goodwill arising from use of the app.
14. Termination
You may stop using the app at any time by deleting it and cancelling any active subscription. DuttLabs may suspend access where necessary to address unlawful use, misuse, legal requirements, or violation of these terms.
15. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Australia, without regard to conflict of law principles, except where local consumer protection laws require otherwise.
16. Changes to these terms
DuttLabs may update these terms. Material changes will be reflected by updating this page and the in-app terms reference.
